Honky Tonk Song


This is one of those songs that are somewhere in the foundation of my radio memory, along with, "Love is Strange," by Mickey and Sylvia, and, "Moonlight Gambler," by Frankie Laine. It kept going through my head, which is appropriate because that's what it's about. "Honky Tonk Song" was written by Mel Tillis and Buck Peddy. The lead guitar is Clay Hawkins.
